Ok, so I've been playing destiny yesterday morning just fine until I turned it back on after that morning session and after 5 - 10 minutes of playing BattlEye "Query Timeout" window pop up starts showing up and turns off my game. I tried everything, from reinstalling both game and the anti-cheat to turning off my antivirus program, but nothing seems to be working. I logged on this morning to have the same issue all over again. I am pretty sure I'm not the only one having this problem. No results on the internet helped me solve it no matter what game it is about. Is there anyone with a solution or something, I just want to play the game with my friends. Edit: The weekly reset was today and as soon as it launched the problem fixed itself. 5 May @ 3:40pm Battleye Query Timeout I've been playing the game a bunch and have had no issues but lately I've been getting these Battleye Query Timeouts that shut down my game. Searching, I see mention of this Razor setting but I do not even have Razor nor am I having anything running in the background. Could it be detecting the steam overlay maybe? I'm open to any suggestions to help with this issue. Date Posted: 5 May @ 3:40pm Posts: 3
B34R 29 Aug, 2021 @ 4:30pmIt's not much help, but I am having the same problems as well. played just fine last week. But now it seems to crash after 5-10 minutes ingame
I am also having similar problems. game crashes after 10 minutes. sometimes error codes appear. sometimes not.

Even after restarting Steam, verifying the games files, and reinstalling both battleye and Destiny it still happens exactly the same. So it has to be on Bungie's side, which is so weird because I literally played all day the day before and there were no problems at all... Hope it gets fixed soon.
same problem here too. what a shame u.u
I won't play if Destiny 2 fixes battle eye, and they haven't done that before so why add it now?
Glass 31 Aug, 2021 @ 5:55amBeen playing destiny for a few years now and this is the first time this happened to me. I hope Bungie can do better than battleye (or at leats fix it) coz it's causing so much problems for people that don't even hack the game.
Same problem. Haven't played for 2 days. Haven't found a solution.
this is what i've found that worked for me. since then, no problems whatsoever. First Right Click on Desktop - Open Nvidia Control Panel - Manage 3D Setting - By Application - Destiny2.exe - Set Nvidia Shader Cache to off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's what I did to fix it: Open the start menu and Search “Windows Defender Firewall” Now click “Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall“ Check the list to see if BEService.exe and BEService_d2.exe exists > If it does not click Change Settings Then “Allow another app…” button and add all the BattlEye services to Windows Defender Firewall You can navigate to both files via C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye\ Once both have been added (to both private and public network, click
OK.
Opti 2 Sep, 2021 @ 4:57pmthis is what i've found that worked for me. since then, no problems whatsoever. What about for AMD cards?

this is what i've found that worked for me. since then, no problems whatsoever. Olaso, this worked for me! Just finished playing for the past three hours with no query timeout!! Not sure if it was the shaders or adding BEservice.exe and BEServices_d2.exe to windows defender firewall. I did both and now it's working fine!! Thanks again for the great info!!!
Just had to install battleye after searching on the internet if safe to install, but didn't have a timeout... so... working now |
