Anybody with knowledge can help me out. I'm new to my zen3 5600x. I'm super stable with my Gskill FlareX 3200mhz CL14 @ fast tuned per ryzen dram calculator 3600mhz CL16-15-15-15 with only 1.37v and 1.1v soc. I can't seem to go over that. If I try to increase to 3800mhz on the ram of course then I'm not 1:1 and I tried changing some settings in the bios to get 1:1 by setting the infinity fabric to 1900mhz and the system won't post or even get into the bios. Is there anything I can try? Running Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro-P on latest F12 1.1.0.0 AGESA version. Any tips to a newbie Zen3 overclocker? (I came from a r5 1600 on a B350 so never messed with any infinity fabric overclocking)

Though I'm not a giga fan, we've got very similar system and same agesa version, that allows to run 1900IF no hassle, so i'm afraid there's not much left to try, unless...
Can you post zentimings ss of your [email protected] run. Does your pc work with decoupled uclk/fclk at all? If it does, i'd try to loosen your timings to smth. like 16-18-18-38-54 for example, then boot decoupled, then set fclk 1900, vsoc to 1.2, vddp/vddg - all auto, vdimm to 1.45 and try to boot.

3800mhz works decoupled but get less performance than my 3600 1:1 tuned. I will try to set all to auto on 3800mhz decoupled, then try to set what you suggested 1900 fclck, vsoc auto which I think is 1.2v and up my dimm voltage, I left it at 1.37v
Thanks

AMD: 2933/3200/3466/3733. 3733 is the top 1:1 on AMD's native I/O controller. AGESA patches work on Intel speeds sometimes. If you really want faster ram go to a QUAD channel TR. Or wait till March and get 8 channel memory on a TR PRO.

Does that mean good or bad? Is your 5600x on your b550 gskill running 1900 1:1 and what timings voltage?

He seemed to wonder I think, of the voltage you have posted - 1.37 maybe instead of 3,7 ?

LMAO woops, yeah 1.37v from stock xmp 1.35v I corrected original post. I thought maybe he was saying how good of an overclock it was at that low voltage since B-die can go up to 1.5v or like 1.45v 24/7 usage.

Welp I just installed the 1.2.0.0 F13a bios and I'll try to revisit 3.8ghz 1:1 again and see what's up since this bios supposed to help.

No dice even with the new 1.2.0.0 bios I got on my 5600x chip, I guess I got a dud. Again I set the memory timings all to auto. I booted into windows with all default timings uncoupled infinity fabric (timings were very high like all CL22) and it works fine albeit less performance than at 3600mhz tuned with 1:1 on infinity fabric. I also increased voltage to 1.4v Then I go back into BIOS and only change infinity fabric divider to 1900mhz and system just won't even get into bios. I have to manually take out the cmos battery to get the system back up. So guess my chip will only go to 1800mhz infinity fabric.

Yes, you can't set all in auto and boot at 1900 for your memory

You may set your memory as this:

[Official] AMD Ryzen DDR4 24/7 Memory Stability Thread

Has anyone run into the weird behavior where simply lowering primary timings by 1 will lead to the computer not POSTing and having the CPU debug light come on? Currently running my F4-4266C19-16GTZKW kit at 3800 MHz 16-15-15-15-32-48-288-1T @1.4V. If I lower tCL to 15, save and exit, the lights...

Or a similar setting for b-die

Yes my ram does work at 3800mhz verified it was stable with no errors albeit at bad auto timings CL22-22-22-22 but again, running like this means it's not 1:1 with IF and that incurs huge latency (from 64ns to 80's) I'll try again at some point to do 3900mhz IF with later more robust bios.

I was able to get 3733mhz fast tuned at 1:1 with IF at 1867 and so far stable!
